Got to stay focus

Blogging is a solitude, and this seems to be a great place to blog on my after thoughts and reflection. I feel that whatever I say, think and do will be reflected upon my actions and vice versa is possible too.

I think that I haven’t been proactive in my internship but have had adopted a somewhat *laid back* attitude by not seeking to find out the things that matters most. I will want to continue to keep the passion going and to focus on wat is important. YES!!! i want to keep my focus rite, continued with my passion and attitude and do the best that I can.

Hasn’t had much time to talk to Teo Yat since internship started. Kinda missed the kind of free time we once have; to be able to talk and chat with one another almost every single day. Furthermore I am down with flu and sore throat and I have to resort to sleeping earlier in order to recover faster. However all is not lost for the lord is my strength and my shield. He has always helped me whenever I feel tired or lost. Have been praying more to him esp during work times and I feel happy to soak in his presence too!!

Anyway, just want to stay focus and do well in the things that I set out to do… Yeah… do u feel the same way as me? =P Comments. =P

First day of internship

Today was my first day of internship and i didnt know that internship can be quite cool, as we were given a lot of autonomy; what we have to do today is just to study. Imagine being paid to study with no exams, Isn’t that quite good. haha, however i find today’s internship to be quite okay though I know that the project ahead will be challenging. Well, I will continue to pray to the lord, for he will always make a way for me. =P

Down with a running nose and a bit of sore throat today and the powerful air con just make it worse. I realized that the next few days, my programme will be fully packed with activities. Tomolo 7-9, econs tuition, Wed, BT’s tuition 8-10 and Thurs, Cell group. I think I will be tired out. Do keep me in prayers and pray for healing to come.

Waileong came over to Raffles place for dinner today. Though he is also working, he really make the effort to come and find me today. Appreciate that!! Take care bro. Hope work will be a breeze for u. God bless u too!! Take care!

God bless u!! Take care!

Happy Birthday!!

Happy birthday to Derrick, Desmond and Gerald!!!!

Anyway, it was a great basketball session with Weijie, Caleb and Gerald. We almost win the professional players with a score of 7 -5. Of course, the latter score of 5 is ours. Mainly I was the "key player" that can’t perform as well in terms of shooting. Luckily weijie shows his power. With his small built and agility he was able to lay up a few balls with great ease, thus scoring pts for our team.

I haven’t been playing bball for almost close to 6 years already which resulted in my inability to shoot accurately, thus my main job was to catch the rebound. There was this time; the ball was STUCK onto the side of the net. Suddenly all eyes turn onto me expecting me to jump to release the ball. I looked back at all of them seemingly saying “no lah, ni men tai kan de qi wo le” SO high.. How to jump? However, a tot struck me. And as I bend my knees to prepare for the great leap, I reckon that I can reach the target and I DID!!!! Wow!! Didn’t know that I can jump so high. =P

Anyway, it was really quite a relax activitY with u guys!! U all Rox!! I love the team work and support that we had!! Nice playing with u guys!! Thanks!!

Anyway tomolo is the start of my internship. Going to sleep le.. Good nite!!
God bless!

When being nice is no longer nice…

Being nice, or the willingness and the desire to serve others can be a double-edged sword. It doesn’t seek for returns or rewards but when what it earns is negativity, it should be time to reminisce to try to understand the importance of this process of doing things. When being nice becomes a torturous torment that is hard to imbue, translated to be hard to comprehend and understandable in ways leading to being unappreciated. One should think and reflect on the ways of doing things.

Being nice on itself is not a bad thing, but when it doesn’t get to the needs of the other person, it would not be any thing worth mentioning. On the other hand, to be able to comprehend this and seek to do what it requires would definitely serve a greater sense of purpose and meaning. It is not easy and takes great sensitivity to be able to serve with humility and directed at the immediate needs of ur friends. Perhaps I haven’t possesses such qualities which resulted in the failure of addressing the fundamental.

Reflection is nice though it is coupled with a ripple effect of heartache, but pain is inevitable but necessitates a change in what matters most. Pain brings about immediate attention to the sensory motor which requires us to take actions.

Still, there is much to be thankful for, and much efforts are needed to thrust out of my comfort zones, just as Stephen Convey mentioned in the 8th habit of effective people that the initial stages of such is usually the most difficult and is parallel to the amount of forces that is needed to move a rocket out of the ground initially.

“Dang Ni Gu Dang, Ni Hui Xiang Qi Shui”? Waileong came to my mind when I feel like nobody understands.. I always remember the time he shows unconditional positive regards for me back in secondary school. I believe I was a rash, emotional and short tempered guy who always gets on the nerve via certain actions like the splashing of chili sauce onto his shirt accidentally while opening it. He has never gotten angry with me before but has been patient and gentle with me all this while. Thanks for being around and always helping me in times of needs. I feel thankful and appreciated always with u around. I remember, I lost something important in G.e.s.s when I was in Sec 3 and Wai Leong was there by my side searching high and Low for it. Sometimes it is not the finding back of the stuff that is lost that is important but the presence of a dear someone who is willing to stand by ur side when u are in need. Thanks for ur overwhelming presence. =P

Anyway, today is one of my primary school friend's BIRTHDAY.. Happy Birthday Connie!!! Hope u have had a great time today.

Upon the things that I have not been doing correctly, I will take effort to change and turn myself to a better person. God bless.
