First MPC
“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. – 1 Cor 13:1-3
Indeed, one of the main reasons why I have decided to change my career from the financial sector to the education world is I believe I have better opportunity to build people up in the latter. I want a career that allows me and give me opportunity to love the younger generations easily. I must keep this in mind so that I will not lose track of my main purpose in life.
Indeed, here in Singapore, in my homeland, sometimes the demand of life have a tendency for human beings to lose their primary focus as seemingly the urgent and important tasks crept up and drift us away from our primary objective.
This time round, this will not happen to me. I have an ultimate aim to become an excellent educator. My desire is to love each and every single one of the Students and believe in the ability and capability just like how my GP teacher believe in me back when I was in SAJC. Ms Lim Shiok Peng has really touched my life and now I hope that I will be able to touch the life of students.
Sunday
I went to the first session of MPC on Sunday with Yating. I have not fully recover initially and was feeling the headache when I was with the children. But indeed I found it really an enjoyment to be with the kids. They are just 15 mths – 36 months. And yes, every single one of them is so cute. This is a new phrase of my life with Miss Teo. I will treasure each and every single moment
